Reprieve seeks Resource Development Officer - deadline 17 January

Reprieve is a London-based human rights charity founded by lawyer Clive Stafford Smith in 1999. Our work falls into two main areas: assisting prisoners facing the death penalty around the world, and working to bring an end to the abuses committed as part of the ‘War on Terror’ – representing prisoners in Guantanamo Bay, victims of state kidnap and torture, and civilians who have fallen victim to covert drone strikes.

Reporting to the Head of Development, the Resource Development Officer is a new part-time role (20 hours per week), with responsibility for the effective administration and development of Donorflex, our donor care database, and communication with our supporters.

·         In-depth operational experience within a resource development team, and strong experience of database fundraising

·         In depth knowledge of Donorflex (or equivalent), including ability to build complex queries and reports and to manipulate large datasets

·         Demonstrable ability to use this knowledge in a practical and proactive way by identifying and implementing improvements in the way data is handled

·         Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and databases
