An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a creative flair and a passion for communications. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to scope, and subsequently deliver a new integrated communications and engagement strategy to support all areas of OLH&CS.
Essential Requirements:
Relevant third level qualification at degree level in journalism, marketing, communications or related field
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience working in a fast-paced Comms / PR / Public Affairs environment.
3 years’ experience in a management / senior role in a fast-paced Comms / PR / Public Affairs environment with demonstrable achievements.
Experience in delivering external comms functions.
Experience in delivering internal comms functions.
Experience in delivering public affairs functions.
Experience in strategy development and implementation.
A strong background in project management with a proven track record of delivering on objectives.
A strong background in 3rd party agency management.
A strong background in press office duties.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office packages: i.e. Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint etc.
Strong proficiency in designing and creating online content i.e., short video production (storyboarding, interviewing, filming & editing - mobile journalist approach), photo shop, Canva and various in-house design tools.
Strong proficiency in wordpress.
