PILNet Global Forum

Join us for the 2022 PILnet Global Forum in Dublin on 17^th to 19^th October 2022.

PILnet, an international NGO who engages with the legal sector to strengthen the legal capacity of civil society by providing resources and expertise on a pro bono basis, is hosting the 15th annual Global Forum in Dublin from 17 - 19 October! This event convenes hundreds of lawyers and advocates to forge alliances and create strategies to protect civil society on topics such as access to justice for refugees, role of technology in pro bono, pro bono for children’s rights, climate action, and the effect of ESG and global trends on pro bono practices.

Held every year in a different city, or virtually when necessary, PILnet’s Global Forum convenes hundreds of lawyers and advocates from around the world to forge alliances and develop strategies for using the law to protect civil society and the communities they serve. This year, PILNet will come together to rebuild its networks, to grow and strengthen its field, and to advance and promote the role of pro bono not only in times of crisis but also in support of ongoing efforts to create just, equitable, and sustainable societies for our future.

Through presentations, interactive workshops, social events, and structured networking opportunities, participants have an opportunity to develop and strengthen partnerships and to form action plans to ameliorate the pressing issues facing the communities they support. In addition, PILNet will kick off the Forum with sector-specific opening meetings on 17^th October where lawyers, clearinghouse members, and in-house counsel can network with their peers and discuss the most common concerns in their respective fields.
