The PILS Project: The power of pro bono for your CV during COVID-19 – 4 November

Join the PILS Project and the Law Society of Northern Ireland as they host a virtual session as part of UK Pro Bono Week 2020 on the power of pro bono for your CV in times of COVID.

Engaging in pro bono work has lots of potential benefits for legal professionals. Not only does it open you up to new areas of law, it can also enhance your career prospects. At a time when networking with colleagues and creating learning opportunities are more logistically difficult, recently qualified solicitors and barristers are particularly affected by COVID-19's impact on the profession.

Our panel, chaired by solicitor Sinead Mulhern, will share their thoughts on how pro bono work is helping during COVID and its role in shaping the future of the legal profession.

The event will be open to all, but will be of particular interest to newly qualified barristers and solicitors, as well as law students.

Places are free but space is limited - reserve your place today!

Chair: Sinead Mulhern
