Eversheds Sutherland: pro bono consultations for charities with legal queries related to COVID-19

Given the current climate and recognising that charities and not-for-profits are finding themselves in a difficult position, law firm Eversheds Sutherland is offering its services to give pro bono advice and a forum to discuss any Coronavirus related queries or concerns with a designated solicitor from the firm. It can assist in any legal issues you may have, in particular relating to employment, real estate, corporate and litigation matters.

What is included?

A 30 minute session between you and a designated solicitor is included. The firm will then review your issue and advise on next steps and recommendations.

How does it work?

To apply, please email Emma Armstrong an outline of the query you would like to discuss. A solicitor will be assigned with experience in the appropriate area, who will reach out to book your session.

Notes:

  • All charities need to be registered with the Charities Regulator.
  • All matters will be dealt with in strict confidentiality.
  • You can book your timeslot as either a Zoom video conference or a telephone call, depending on your preference.
  • Each timeslot will be for 30 minutes in duration.

This is an initiative by Evershed Sutherland’s CSR Committee. It was launched in the understanding that people are already navigating significant health and economic challenges and finding legal help should not be another burden.
