Join Women’s Aid for the launch of Femicide Watch (Republic of Ireland) 2019 and seminar exploring the issues of domestic violence and homicide, international good practice for domestic homicide reviews, the impact of domestic homicide on families and media reporting of violence against women.
Speakers include: Sarah Benson (CEO, Women’s Aid), Norah Gibbons (Independent Study on Familicide and Domestic Homicide Reviews), Frank Mullane (CEO, Advocacy after Fatal Domestic Abuse), Ryan Hart (CoCo Awareness), Kathleen Chada (Sentencing and Victim Equality), Dr. Anne O’Brien (Maynooth University), Gillian Dennehy (Services Manager, Women’s Aid).
Event will be chaired by Claire Byrne, Broadcaster.
