The Immigrant Council of Ireland is a non-governmental organisation and Independent Law Centre which provides information, advice and legal representation to migrants and their families moving to or living in Ireland.
The Immigrant Council of Ireland is seeking a solicitor to assist in the implementation of the organisation’s legal and advocacy strategy, in particular the delivery of high quality frontline information and legal services to migrants, including children and victims of trafficking. This will include the identification and pursuit of strategic litigation in cases in accordance with the policy of the organisation. In addition to the delivery of legal services, the solicitor will also engage in legal research and policy analysis, writing reports, delivery of training and communications/advocacy activities, including media work.
