Over more than a decade, PILnet has developed a broad global pro bono network of law firms, involving them in litigation, research, and institutional support for NGOs in Europe, Asia, Eurasia, and the Middle East/North Africa. This program will provide fellows an opportunity to benefit from this network and to innovate alongside PILnet and private sector lawyers to ensure the tools typically exploited by private clients are made available to serve the interests of poor and underserved clients.
The fellowship program will include experiential learning in developing transactional lawyering approaches to public interest matters, complemented by workshops and classroom-style training carried out by leading legal academics and practitioners. In the fellowship’s inaugural year, PILnet is seeking a strong first class to take part and help us refine the curriculum.
Please submit the following application materials to: fellowship@pilnet.org.
Applications will be accepted beginning 1 March 2017, on a rolling basis until all positions are filled. Please check PILnet’s website before submitting an application to ensure that applications are still being accepted: www.pilnet.org.
