The post holders will promote social security law rights through advice, casework and representation, legal information, policy advocacy and training.
Candidates should have a professional qualification as a solicitor or barrister and demonstrated experience of providing advice, casework and representation in tribunal and/or courts on social security law, including welfare reform OR a legal adviser with at least the full-time equivalent of four years’ experience of providing legal advice, casework and representation in social security law, including welfare reform and before the Social Security Commissioner.
Salary: commencing at £29,323 plus pension contribution
