AkiDwA FGM Project is hosting the launch of the United to END FGM (EUFGM) European Knowledge Platform, a free-of-charge online platform offering information and practical advice to professionals on female genital mutilation (FGM). The platform is aimed at providing easily accessible (and culturally appropriate) information and support to professionals to deliver victim support more effectively, help prevent FGM and protect women and girls at risk of FGM.
On 6 February, International Day for Zero Tolerance on FGM, the platform will be launched by Senator Alice-Mary Higgins.
The launch takes place at Europe House, 12-14 Mount Street Lower, Dublin 2 from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm. Registration is at 9.30 am.
