Migrant Rights Centre Ireland is a national organisation working to promote justice, empowerment and equality for migrants and their families. MRCI is currently looking for interns for a 6-month volunteer placement.
The primary role of the intern case worker is to provide information and assistance and to carry out assessments in the Drop-in Centre (DIC) within MRCI. The role involves referring migrant workers to specialist and locally-based organizations who can offer support and advice.
Applicants should have knowledge of Irish employment and immigration law. Fluency in English is required, while competency in other languages is an advantage. Applicants should demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work under pressure as well as the ability to work in a team.
