Fair Trials: Practitioner Training on New EU Directives – 15-17 April, London

Fair Trials is holding a Practitioner Training Course on the topic of ‘The EU Directives on fair trial rights in criminal proceedings’. The course is open to criminal lawyers from the UK, Ireland, France, Belgium and Luxembourg and will be held in Brunel Law School at Brunel University.

The course will centre on Directive 2010/64/EU on the Right to Interpretation & Translation, Directive 2012/13/EU on the Right to Information and Directive 2013/48/EU on the Right of Access to a Lawyer and other related EU law.

If selected, Fair Trials will cover the costs of this training, including accommodation. Applications can be made by emailing the relevant application form to training@fairtrials.net by 31 January. Successful applicants will be informed by 5 February.
