Extern Ireland are recruiting a Youth Justice Coordinator for their Southside Youth Initiative. Extern is a charity which helps people improve their lives and makes communities safer by reducing reoffending, keeping families together and helping to build a fair and inclusive society.
This role will incorporate the management of risk, equality, resources and communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, development and evaluation of the Garda Diversion programme.
The ideal candidate will hold a professional qualification in Social Work/Social Care, Youth & Community Work or related Social Science discipline. They will also have a minimum of 3 years’ cumulative (full time) experience in a paid and/or voluntary capacity of direct work with young people aged up to 18 years old in a structured setting e.g. youth project, residential setting, social work/care, etc.
