Dr. Sigrid Rausing of the Sigrid Rausing Trust will be giving the 3rd Annual Front Line Defenders lecture in association with University College Dublin and Trinity College Dublin.
Writer, publicist and philanthropist, Dr. Sigrid Rausing founded the Sigrid Rausing Trust in 1995 - one of the United Kingdom's largest philanthropic organisations which has given more than £230 million to human rights organisations worldwide since its inception.
Dr. Rausing will be speaking on the topic "A Hardening Climate - Funding Human Rights in Repressive Societies" and the lecture will be chaired by Denis Staunton, The Deputy Editor of The Irish Times.
