These posts are available from September 2014, or such date thereafter as can be arranged, to contribute towards the advancement of the subject through high quality research, teaching and administration within the School of Law.
Applications are invited for a professorial level appointment in the School of Law. The successful candidates will join a dynamic research and education environment within the School of Law. The School of Law is looking to make appointments in any area of law that compliments its existing strengths in public law; corporate governance; international commerce; environmental law; human rights; criminology and criminal justice, as well as common law.
The successful individuals will play a leading role in promoting the profile of Law at Queen’s University, from both a research and educational perspective.
The School of Law was rated as a 5 in the 2001 RAE and had a top-ten ranking in RAE 2008 finishing 7th in the UK, with a weighted average score of 2.80. Applicants must have a proven record of research or research potential of a sufficiently high quality to maintain or improve upon the School’s record in future REF exercises. More detailed criteria will be included in the further particulars for the posts.
