The roundtable will be hosted by Crosscare who along with Doras Luimni, Nasc, Flac and New Communities Partnership have been working with the Department of Social Protection on the recommendations from the 'Person or Number?' report which was launched by the Minister in February 2011.
Click here to view the report.The roundtable will discuss the current situation on the ground for immigrants interacting with the Department of Social Protection and using the social welfare system, including the recurring difficulties immigrants experience and the new issues that have surfaced in the previous 2-3 years with a view to putting together a report by the end of July 2014.
