The course offers an introduction to the issues that affect children who are subject to immigration control in the UK. It will give an overview of the immigration rules relating to some of these children and will look at their rights under EU law, article 8 ECHR, asylum and the trafficking provisions. This course is aimed at advisors dealing with immigration queries on children or those who want to identify where specialist assistance is required.
Tea and coffee will be provided, as are all course materials.
