University College Cork has published 11 recordings from its conference on the 9 March 2012 entitled ‘Challenges and Issues in Child Law Scholarship’.
PILA co-sponsored and PILA Manager Larry Donnelly chaired an event on the evening prior to the conference. This pre-conference event focused on Irish child law reform.
Dr. Helen Stafford from the University of Liverpool speaks on the role of the EU in advancing children’s rights, arguing that the EU does indeed advance child rights but that there are certain mechanisms that need to be put in place to make the EU more accommodating of children’s rights.
