The Registry of the European Court of Human Rights has published a number of new and updated factsheets on certain areas of the case law of the court. Such areas include extradition and expulsion, data collection, children’s rights and gender identity. The factsheets contain a very succinct analysis of the facts and holdings of the court in relevant cases. The ECHR Blog notes that these factsheets can be a very valuable starting point for practitioners, as they provide a general overview of numerous areas of the law and also often mention pending cases before the court.
