The legal director will develop strategies, plan, manage and monitor the legal work and develop the work as a nationally recognised centre of excellence and expertise providing legal advice and intervention to the highest standards to young people making sure that the casework complies with contractual obligations.
The ideal candidate should have five years' PQE in criminal, public and/or prison law but a candidate with an equivalent professional qualification with knowledge of the criminal, children and human rights law and experience of overseeing practitioner compliance to the highest level will be considered.
