The Rule of Law project, a joint initiative of the Law Society of Ireland and the Bar Council of Ireland, has recently gained registered charity status in the hope of driving the Irish legal profession's interest in overseas work. Now "Pamodzi Promoting Rule of Law", the project is dedicated to the promotion of the Rule of Law in developing countries, seeking to engage in collaborative projects aimed at assisting the provision and protection of human rights, democracy and good governance abroad.
The project will be officially launched on 27 January 2011 at 6pm in The Distillery Building, Church Street. To view more information on the project, please click here.
