The Public Interest Law Institute's annual European Pro Bono Forum will take place in Paris on 18-19 November 2010. Expecting to draw more than 200 lawyers, NGO representatives and academics from throughout Europe and beyond, the Forum is the only platform of its kind providing an international comparative perspective on pro bono practice in Europe.
The 2010 Forum will be held at two venues in the heart of Paris: the prestigious Maison du Barreau, the meeting center of the Paris Bar, and the Cap 15 conference facility. In celebration of the Paris Bar's 200th anniversary and in light of local developments in pro bono practice, Jean Castelain, the President of the Paris Bar, will kick off the Forum.
Now in its fourth year, the Forum will have a diverse agenda with interactive workshops geared toward NGO representatives, newcomers to pro bono as well as more experienced practitioners. Early registration rates end September 20.
