Advice and Information Officer

Liberty is currently recruiting an Advice & Information Officer to join its Public Advice and Information Team. Advice & Information Officers are responsible for processing and responding to requests for advice and assistance from members of the public directly and/or via an online legal information platform which we intend to develop.  The A&I officers identify suitable queries to refer to in-house lawyers. They are also responsible for the recruitment and training of legal volunteers and give talks in schools, community groups etc. on Liberty’s main campaigning objectives.

The successful candidate will be legally trained, holding at the very minimum an LLB, PGDL or equivalent qualification. Your research skills must be of a very high standard and you must have had some former experience of advice provision.

Advocacy Director

In the post-Brexit, post-Trump world when threats to the Human Rights Act remain real and our communities are more divided than ever, Liberty is looking for an experienced, innovative and ambitious Advocacy Director to develop and implement our long-term strategy; run high-profile, creative campaigns; manage multi-disciplinary teams; forge collaborative partnerships; reach new audiences; influence across the political spectrum; and keep Liberty at the cutting edge of human rights work.

Advocacy & Policy Officer

Liberty is currently recruiting an Advocacy & Policy Officer to join the team.

The Advocacy & Policy Officer will play a key role in developing Liberty’s policy and campaigning priorities: undertaking high quality research, influencing decision makers, building coalitions and providing policy input to strategic litigation in order to build public and political support for Liberty’s work. If you are an analytical researcher with exceptional communication skills then we want to hear from you.
