Refugee and Migrant Coalition: Coordinator – deadline 13 December 2016

The Refugee and Migrant Coalition (RMC) is concerned with promoting social justice, equality and human rights to protect vulnerable people in countries of origin, transit and within Ireland. The RMC is made up of organisations in Ireland working in the fields of international development and trade, humanitarian, worker, migrant and refugee rights and justice. The RMC is seeking applications for the position of Refugee and Migrant Coalition Coordinator.

The role involves leading the development and implementation of the Refugee and Migrant Coalition (RMC) objectives and activity plan. The role requires actively supporting and facilitating information sharing of RMC members on National, EU and UN developments.

The applicant should have a strong knowledge of issues facing refugees, asylum seekers and migrants as well as experience of engaging and supporting the participation of vulnerable groups. Applicants are expected to have a commitment to advancing the human rights of refugees and migrants.

The closing date for this application is 5pm Tuesday 13th December.
