Transparency International Ireland: Part-time Advocacy and Legal Executive (Volunteer) – deadline 13 November

Transparency International Ireland (TII) is the Irish Chapter of a global movement against corruption.  It is independent of government, politically non-partisan and non-profit making. TII has been operating its Speak Up helpline since 2011, to provide assistance to whistle-blowers, as well as witnesses and victims of corruption and wrongdoing.

The purpose of this position is to support the work of TII and, in particular, the Speak Up helpline and other projects headed by TII’s Legal Counsel. The role involves call handling, participating in weekly casework meetings, legal research and analysis, and operating case/data management systems. The role is part-time 3 days per week.

The applicant is required to be well versed in IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook as well as excellent written and communication skills. Legal training and customer service experience would be beneficial to the applicant.
