Transparency International: Advocacy and Legal Executive – deadline 28 August 2016

Transparency International (TI) Ireland is recruiting an Advocacy and Legal Executive to support their working campaign to empower individuals to speak out against all forms of corruption. This position will offer support particularly to the organisation’s Speak Up Helpline and the Transparency Legal Advice Centre (TLAC). 

The helpline service offers advice and free legal referral services to citizens, witnesses, whistleblowers and victims of corruption and white collar crime, and the TLAC provides free legal advice to individuals seeking to make disclosures of wrongdoing.

Primary responsibilities of the role will include legal and general research and analysis, undertaking casework and operating case and data systems, drafting, editing and supporting the TI’s legal counsel/senior solicitor. Legal training and experience in customer service are desirable although not required.

This is a volunteer intern position. TI Ireland will cover all out of pocket expenses.
