Sage: Development and Case Worker – 26 August 2016

Sage is seeking a Development and Case Worker for the Greater Dublin Area. Sage was established in 2014 and aims to provide support and advocacy services for older people, wherever aging poses a challenge. The main roles involved in the position include undertaking casework and managing complex cases, developing support and advocacy services, assisting in the recruitment and training of volunteers and providing regular presentations to organisations to support the development of Sage, across all care settings.

The requirements for the position include three years of working experience in a health care or service, knowledge of the challenges that older people face and knowledge of quality assurance. They must also have the ability to lead and support staff and solve problems. The main desirable skills include an understanding of the issues involved in the support and advocacy of older people and those with intellectual disabilities, a qualification in a relevant discipline and experience with Salesforce.

The position is a fixed contract until 31st of December 2017. The salary is negotiable but the indicative range is €40,000-45,000. The position is based in Dublin but may require travel and irregular working hours.
