ERA Academy of European Law: The Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union in Practice – 15-16 September, Trier, Germany

Academy of European Law, ERA, are holding a training seminar for social law practitioners, providing practical training on the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. Key focus points of the conference will include the legal value of the Charter, recent developments and relevant practical issues concerning interpretation of the Charter, its scope and application with a special focus on social rights, and its relationship with the European Convention on Human Rights and other human rights provisions.

The event will offer an interactive approach to training, consisting of presentations, group discussions and workshops, giving participants the opportunity to update their knowledge on the Charter, with a particular emphasis on its application to social and labour law.

Participation in the seminar is reserved exclusively to lawyers of EU Member States.

The standard conference fee is €200.
