The Voices of Individuals: Collectively Exploring Self-determination (VOICES) is hosting a conference on 26 February to launch its long term project of developing new approaches to the right to legal capacity for people with disabilities. The project aims to place those who have experienced a denial of legal capacity on disability grounds with scholars, policy makers and activists so as to critique and analyse current policies and develop alternative recommendations for reform. At the opening conference, those interested in participating will be given further information on the project prior to launching its first workshop in April 2016.
Those wishing to attend must register before 22 February. Registration is free but places are limited.
