Essay competition: Irish Centre for European Law – deadline 10 November

The ICEL is delighted to announce the launch of the 2015 Essay Competition.  The competition is open to all law students, trainee solicitors and barristers in their first devilling year.  The essay can be on any topic on the theme of European Human Rights.  The judging panel are:

·         The Hon. Mr Justice Aindrais Ó Caoimh

·         Professor Mark Bell, Regis Professor of Law, Trinity College. Dublin

·         Dr Vincent Power, Partner, A&L Goodbody

The first prize is €500 and the second prize is €250.  Both winners will receive full individual membership of the ICEL for 2016.  The winning entries will be published on the ICEL's website.

Deadline: Tuesday, 10 November at 3pm.  All entries must be emailed to mailto:icel@tcd.ie.
