Transparency International Ireland: Advocacy & Legal Executive (Volunteer) – 11 September 2015

Transparency International Ireland (TII) is the Irish Chapter of a global movement against corruption.  It is independent of government, politically non-partisan and non-profit making. TII has been operating its Speak Up helpline since 2011, to provide assistance to whistleblowers, employees facing ethical dilemmas at work and victims of corruption or other wrongdoing.

The volunteer role involves working at least three days a week at TII’s office in Middle Abbey Street, Dublin 1, from 10am to 6pm, with an hour for lunch. The purpose of this position is to support the work of TII and, in particular, the Speak Up helpline and other projects headed by TII’s Legal Counsel including the establishment of Transparency Legal Advice Centre, an independent law centre for whistleblowers.
