GOAL wishes to recruit an experienced Legal Counsel to provide quality legal advice and ensure effective corporate governance for the organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with GOAL’s Board of Directors and CEO as well as GOAL’s senior management team and will work across a variety of functions within the Organisation. He/She will be a strong performer who has the technical legal skills and experience and the personal qualities to enable him/her to work at a senior level in a dynamic environment.
The candidate must have a minimum 7 years’ post-qualification experience in a senior role in-house, in a law firm or at the Bar; international experience in the development sector is an advantage. The primary function of this role is to ensure that GOAL meets its legal requirements from a governance, company and charity law perspective.
