Australian Firm Clayton Utz reaches 500,000 pro bono hours

Australian law firm Clayton Utz has reached a milestone of 500,000 hours of pro bono legal work, becoming the first firm outside of the US to do so.

To celebrate this landmark, a video and infographic have been produced to give a snapshot of Clayton Utz’s pro bono practice since 1997.

Clayton Utz has consistently led the way in pro bono practice in Australia, being the first large Australian law firm to establish an in house pro bono practice; the first to appoint a full-time pro bono partner; and the first to sign the National Pro Bono Target which sets a voluntary target of 35 pro bono hours per practitioner.
