Two opportunities with Child Law Clinic at UCC – 31 January 2015

Research Panel for the Child Law Clinic

To strengthen its research capacity, and ensure wide-based expert participation within its research projects, the Clinic seeks to establish a research panel. Those placed on the panel will be invited to contribute to specific pieces of research as and when the work available exceeds the capacity of those working full-time with the Clinic. This work may vary in scale and complexity and payment will vary accordingly.

Intern for the Child Law Clinic                         

Under the guidance of the Director, and in collaboration with the broader team, the main responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the development and implementation of on-going projects on children’s rights, child law and youth justice;
  • Working with lawyers on specific cases to litigate children’s rights;
  • Supporting the administration of the Clinic generally and event organization specifically; and
  • Developing the Clinic’s online presence through updating the web and social media as appropriate.

Internships with the Clinic vary in duration between two weeks and six months.
