The Editorial Board of the Hibernian Law Journal would like to invite you to their Annual Lecture entitled "The Future of the Legal Profession”. The lecture will include a Q&A session and will be followed by wine and refreshments in the Law Society’s Blue Room.

Speakers include:

  • Professor Stephen Gillers, New York University – Elihu Root Professor of Law at New York University School of Law.
  • Professor Alan Peterson, Strathclyde University – Director of the Centre for Professional Legal Studies and Director of the Centre for Law, Computers and Technology at Strathclyde, as well as the Law Society of Scotland’s Examiner in Professional Ethics.
  • Ken Murphy, Law Society of Ireland – Director General of the Law Society of Ireland.
  • Professor John Flood, University College Dublin – McCann Fitzgerald Chair in International Law & Business, University College Dublin.
  • Chairperson: The Hon. Mr. Justice Michael Peart – Judge of the newly established Court of Appeal and Judge-in-Residence at the Hibernian Law Journal.

Attendance is free and CPD points will be awarded for attendance at the lecture.
