Event: National Conference on Statelessness in Ireland

The Immigrant Council of Ireland and UNHCR will jointly host a national conference on Statelessness in Ireland. The event will mark the 60th anniversary of the 1954 Convention relating to the status of Stateless people. The event coincides with the launch of UNHCR’s campaign to end statelessness by 2024 and the European Network on Statelessness campaign to protect stateless persons in Europe.
Speakers will include representatives from:
· UNHCR
· Immigrant Council of Ireland
· European Network on Statelessness (ENS)
· Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission
