Salary Scale:
· 2013 (2010) Lecturer (ATB) Salary Scale: €50,807 - €76,936 p.a.
· 2013 (2011) Lecturer (ATB) Salary Scale: €45,726 – €69,275 p.a.*
* Subject to all new entrants to public sector as of 01 January 2011.
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
Applications are invited for five permanent appointments as Lecturer (above the bar) in Law, UCD Sutherland School of Law. In addition to five permanent appointments, one or more temporary 3-year appointments may be offered following competition.
The successful candidates will be required to engage in research, teaching and academic administration within the UCD Sutherland School of Law. This will include the delivery and development of modules at undergraduate and graduate levels, the supervision of graduate students and the generation of publications in leading international peer reviewed journals and with leading academic presses in line with the academic mission of the School.
Applications from candidates with interests in all fields of law will be considered, however candidates with teaching and/or research interests in a number of particular areas (as outlined in the Job Description available below) would be particularly welcome.
Appointee’s will report to the Dean of the Sutherland School of Law.
