This seminar is aimed at solicitors and all professionals who provide advisory and care services to vulnerable or elderly clients. Professionals attending this seminar will acquire up-to-date knowledge on the proposed provisions of the Assisted Decision Making (Capacity) Bill scheduled for publication in July, learn from experts of the UK experience when similar legislation was introduced and about the skills necessary for practitioners in order to ensure best practice and avoid complaints and potential negligence claims.

The objective of this seminar is to provide professionals with knowledge of the proposed changes in law and the best practice tool kit to enable them to assess potential risks and manage these risks in compliance with best practice for the benefit of clients and professional advisors and carers.
