Legal Researcher Dave Ellis Internship, Northside Community Law & Mediation Centre – Deadline 9 August

Northside Community Law & Mediation Centre is an independent community based law centre. It provides free legal service to individuals and groups living in the community as well as acting as a strategic resource for the community in the North East of Dublin. Dave Ellis was a community activist and a driving force behind the Community Law Centre. Dave was a Community Law Officer with Northside Community Law Centre for over twenty years. He died in 2007 after a short illness. In his honour, the Law Centre has set up this internship.

Internship details: This internship will run from September 2013 to the end of May 2014.  The Intern will volunteer on a full-time basis. All out of pocket expenses will be paid. The Intern Programme is a chance for you to gain a valuable insight into the work of a Community Law Centre and gain practical experience of working as a legal researcher.

Please send a, cover letter, CV, and a brief writing sample on one of our practice areas (two pages) to Ms Ros Palmer on rpalmer@nclc.ie. The closing date is Friday 9th August by 4pm. We envisage conducting interviews the week beginning the 26th August. Please note this is an unpaid internship.
