International Commission of Jurists, Development Officer – Deadline 31 May

The International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) is a worldwide network of judges and lawyers united in affirming international law and rule of law principles that advance human rights. The ICJ’s International Secretariat is based in Geneva, with Offices in Bangkok, Kathmandu, Brussels, Johannesburg, and Guatemala City, and currently employs approximately 60 staff and interns. In order to maintain its sustainable growth and capacity, the ICJ is recruiting a full-time Development Officer to help meet the growing financial needs of this expanding organisation.

The ideal candidate is, or has been working for three to five years as a Development Officer for an NGO. S/he has comprehensive knowledge and experience with institutional fundraising, grant management and has excellent communication skills. Experience in fundraising from Swiss-based donors is an important asset.
