Date: Monday 29 April 2013
Time: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Venue: Radisson Blu Hotel, Golden Lane, Dublin 8

What is supported decision-making? How can it be practically implemented in Ireland to ensure that our new capacity law is compliant with the UN Convention on the Rights of Person with Disabilities and respects the individual's will and preferences? In answering these questions, during a one day conference, a range of national and international experts will discuss their experience of supported decision-making in practice and how it can be replicated in Ireland.

The Conference will also consider what Ireland's capacity Bill must contain to ensure that it is line with the CRPD and host a discussion on decision-making specifically relating to children. For further information on the programme agenda and how to book, please click here
