Head of EC Death Penalty Project, Salary: £36,755

The Head of the EC Project will lead and direct a European Commission funded project within Reprieve’s death penalty team. The project will build and expand on the work undertaken by Reprieve’s current EC funded project, ‘Engaging Europe in the Fight for US Abolition’, which is due to finish in September this year. That project identifies and assists European nationals facing the death penalty in the USA.  The new project will cover the additional target regions of South East Asia and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. 

The role of Head of Project (EC Death Penalty Project) is to develop an effective strategy for achieving the project’s aims over the three years and implement appropriate management structures to support staff, fellows and volunteers. This role is full-time, and based at Reprieve's office in central London.

Investigator, EC Death Penalty Project, Salary: £33,000

Reprieve has recently secured project funding from the European Commission. The project will build and expand on the work undertaken by Reprieve’s current EC funded project, ‘Engaging Europe in the Fight for US Abolition’, which is due to finish in September this year. That project identifies and assists European nationals facing the death penalty in the USA. The new project will cover the additional target regions of South East Asia and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The role of Investigator (Death Penalty) is to develop the facts in individual cases that are needed to save lives. This will include working as part of a team of in house lawyers and volunteers, as well as with Fellows and local partners in the target regions. This role is full time and based at Reprieve's office in central London.
