Senior Lecturer Clinical Legal Education UCD School of Law - deadline 20 March 2012

Applications are invited for three temporary 5-year Lecturer / Senior Lecturer appointments within the UCD School of Law. One of these appointments will ideally be made in the fields of Clinical Legal Education / Legal Profession and may be at Senior Lecturer Level.

The appointees to these three posts will be required to engage in research, teaching and academic administration within the UCD School of Law. This will include the delivery and development of modules at undergraduate and graduate level, the supervision of graduate students and the generation of publications in leading international peer reviewed journals and with leading academic presses in line with the academic mission of the School. The appointees will report to the Dean of the School of Law.

The School will consider applications from candidates with interests in all fields of law and would particularly welcome applications from candidates with teaching and/or research interests in the following fields: Clinical Legal Education/Legal Profession Property Law, Law of Equity and Trusts Criminal Law and Criminal Justice International Law, Comparative Law, French Law, Transnational Law Insurance Law, Commercial Law, Banking Law, Insolvency Law, Financial Regulation Medical and Health Law and Regulation.

If a suitable candidate presents in the field of Clinical Legal Education/Legal Profession one appointment may be made at Senior Lecturer grade.

Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
