NGO Alliance Against Racism (NAAR) have issued a tender to prepare Shadow Report. NAAR are seeking a consultant to write a Shadow Report to the Irish Government Report to the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) on its implementation of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD). The main focus of the Shadow Report will be on the Concluding Observations and Recommendations of CERD following its examination of the Irish Government Report in 2005 and the subsequent visit of the Follow-up Co-ordination in 2006, and how these have been implemented to date.
Tenders should include your Curriculum Vitae with a particular emphasis on skills, qualifications and experience in the research area (in particular relevant human rights and/or legal experience), an outline of proposed methodology and a work plan including breakdown of days. Tenders should be submitted electronically by 5pm on Friday 30 July 2010. If necessary, interviews will be held during the second week of August 2010.
